STRIVING FOR EXCELLENCE
That´s what we do and it shows. In addition to winning the 2007 Striving for Excellence Grand Prize award, the SMPS Houston Chapter received chapter awards in 2006, 2005, 2004, and 1990. At the national conference in Hollywood in August 2006, the Houston Chapter was recognized in two categories. We were awarded Outstanding Certificates for our chapter Striving for Excellence submittal and for our newsletter. In 2004, SMPS Houston received the Striving For Excellence — Large Chapter award. The Chapter was the proud recipient of the 2005 Striving for Excellence Communications Award for our website. The award was received on August 12, 2005 at the National Conference in New Orleans. Houston´s first chapter award was accepted by Randle Pollock at the national conference in 1990. This was the first-ever National President´s Award, now the Striving for Excellence Award. |
