Lee Slade, P.E. Walter P Moore Lee W. Slade, P.E. is Senior Principal and Executive Director of Structural Engineering Services for Walter P Moore, a 350-person Houston-based engineering and consulting firm ranked #12 among pure engineering firms nationally. Walter P Moore has been perennially highly ranked as a Best Structural Engineer to Work For, ranking in the Top 10 nationally for the last eight years and earning the top national spot in 2005, 2006, and 2007. He spent the first third of his career designing structures and leading project teams, gradually moving toward firm management, client service and business development. During his decade as Marketing Principal, the firm grew from 100 to 300 people and added four offices. During this time he developed and led all marketing training programs in the firm and was instrumental in the firm´s successful ownership transition and strategic vision. Lee Slade is currently responsible for all operational aspects of the firm´s 180-person, 11 office structural practice group. Key responsibilities include project delivery, client service, profitability, growth, and strategic direction. He has served on the firm´s board of directors for 16 years. |
