 Marketing Coordinator Job Description

Marketing Coordinator Role

A marketing coordinator is the key producer of materials that support Gensler’s direct business development efforts. They work under the direction of senior staff and a regional marketing leader to write, design and produce proposals, presentations and other material used to help the firm win work and also support the general activities of the office/regional marketing studio such as awards, PR, information management, etc.

 

Basic qualifications

 

  • 1-5  years professional experience in a marketing position, preferably for a design or professional services firm
  • Time management skills to coordinate and manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Strong collaboration and team player abilities
  • Graphic design talent and competence with Adobe Creative Suite or comparable software
  • Written and oral communication skills
  • Experience with video and/or digital media and software is a plus

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Working with principals and senior staff to produce proposals, presentations and statements of qualifications
  • Researching, designing, writing and producing all materials in alignment with Firmwide brand standards
  • Participating in strategy/planning sessions
  • Developing new materials as needed to support business development activities
  •  Performing multiple marketing efforts against rapid and frequent deadlines
  • Knowing Gensler’s portfolio of work, practice areas and broad firm capabilities
  • Maintaining resources & information systems: ordering materials, updating project documentation, resumes, image libraries, support award submissions
  • Other responsibilities as assigned
